Hello all and thanks for your interests in quadcopters and multirotors. My site is dedicated to great quality quadcopter and multirotor reviews and build logs. I will strive to provide you with no-nonsense information on the latest quadcopter products and parts available today.
Like most people, who are interested in quadcopters and multirotors, I got my start with what most people call the “toy grade” drones. These are the ready to fly quadcopters that you will find in all the major box stores and online retailers. For example the ever popular Syma X5C or the more sophisticated DJI Phantoms (this one is not exactly toy grade, but is available ready to fly). My site will be covering many of these popular drones in detail, as they are the backbone to this industry.
The toy grade drones/quadcopters are a great entry point into learning how to fly and learning the safety protocols needed to fly, but eventually you will want to go faster or go further than what these toy grades can provide for you. This is where custom quadcopters come into play. Custom quadcopters can get very confusing, however, with endless options and locations to purchase. I will try and help you along in this process as well, by providing you with my experiences with different parts and different online retailers. Be prepared to purchase direct from China in most cases. Don’t let this deter you, there are many reputable sources to you, the wait time is the only bad part.
Thanks for reading and for your time!
